A near-perfect show
What would make Ditch Digger really perfect would be to have a playlist posted here, and if the show would start off with a voice saying "It's Eight O'Clock on KBOO, I'm Marcel and this is Ditch Digger", just to make the listener aware of the greatness ahead.
But this is just a tiny quibble. Ditch Digger is a consistent mix of pop music oldish and newish, obscure and familiar, indie and major-label, a good variety of stuff -- most of which does not get played on any other radio station around here, but some of which does. And it's all nothing too special, just a bunch of songs that are okay, ordinary music that we like to hear. This is what makes Ditch Digger perfect. Well, this and Marcel, and that it alternates with Drinking From Puddles, that other show that is perfect.
