The United Nations Security Council held a meeting December 23 to discuss threats to international peace and security arising from United States military actions being taken against Venezuela. We hear a briefing to the Council by Mohamed Khaled Khiari, Assistant Secretary-General for the Middle East, Asia, and the Pacific, and interventions by representatives of Colombia, Chile, and Brazil.
Plus, the third public meeting of the Massachusetts Legislature’s Special Commission on Xylazine was held Thursday, December 11. Commission members heard from several experts that day including an overview of xylazine presented by Dr. Matthew Hogan, Senior Clinical Veterinarian at Massachusetts General Hospital.
