Monday's Age-Friendly Oregon Summit saw lawmakers and advocates come together to discuss how cities can be made more livable for the older generation. This includes the safety of walking, biking, public transportation, and the accessibility of parks for people of all ages. The keynote speaker was Gil Penalosa, the founder and chair of 8 80 cities, and an ambassador for World Urban Parks

Penalosa sat down with KBOO's Althea Billings to discuss the summit and what communities can do to promote the well-being of all of their residents.
