The 20th Annual Far West Folk Alliance Regional Conference took place at the Vancouver, WA Hilton Hotel in October so a half dozen of us KBOO Folk Strip hosts attended 3 nights of music consisting of three Showcase concerts from 7 to 10 pm followed by Private Showcases in hotel rooms upstairs from 1030 pm to 2 am, which were intimate and allowed some magic to happen.
In this program I’ll share music by some of the many local, regional, national, and international artists who performed.
It’s November so the program ends with some seasonally appropriate songs- including a preview of the upcoming special November 10 Gales of November program on Folk Espresso here on KBOO featuring me, Gordy, and Jonathan commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald, which occurred on November 10, 1975.
