Great program, very enlightening

I initially questioned the decision of having someone on from a paper that's consistently derided and made dismissive comments about KBOO. He even took pot-shots at KBOO and its (lack of) audience in the <a href="http://blogtown.portlandmercury.com/BlogtownPDX/archives/2010/02/03/camp... blog post about appearing on the air, but I have to say, the show was engaging and enlightening. Maybe more appearances will make amends of both sides of the media chasm.

In Davis' defense, there's plenty of jaded hipster currency in deriding community media within the pages of The Merc and KBOO doesn't exactly make it difficult at times.

I liked the report between Lisa Loving (whom I think is one of KBOO's best journalists) and Davis. This would be a great recurring feature. While not exactly a fair media swap, PR-wise, it can't hurt, especially if The Mercury tones down the negative comments towards KBOO.
