We need interested folks to get involved with creating this radio show. What else could be better than shamelessly promoting all things homo on the radio? There are many different ways that you can contribute to the show!

If you're already involved at KBOO, great! Contact me to contribute!  If you're not already involved at KBOO, the first step to getting involved is Volunteer Orientation. They happen monthly and the next one is Thur Nov 15 from 6 to 8 pm here at the station. Contact Ani, our Volunteer Coordinator, at volunteer@kboo.org, or call the station to sign up: 503-231-8032.

Yes Boo Bash is almost here! A great, fun, weird way to spend your Halloween. Lots of cool bands from around town and big thanks to Sean and Jennifer from Night of the Living Tongue for doing some awesome work to put this together. We'll have a costume contest (yes, cool prizes!) and raffles.

Here's some information from the passing away of Lance. I've known him for years and years, probably met him at Epicenter around 1993, but I can't remember... but a world without Lance will be lonlier.

Milan police arrested an anarchist and accused him of the crime. At a certain point in his interrogation, the anarchist flew out the window of the police station. Something similar occurred in New York in 1921, when the anarchist Salsedo flew out the window of a police station, around the same time that Sacco and Vanzetti were arrested for a crime never proven against them. From these stories we can conclude that many anarchists are obsessed by the urge to jump out of the window, because they believe they are able to fly.

We reserve the right to change our minds, but just in case you're wondering, we are probably going to cover these topics in the next few months... and this is not in order by date or anything.
