In the midst of nationwide protests against systemic racism and police brutality, demonstrators with the group the People vs. ICE PDX marched in downtown Portland on Friday June 26th to draw attention to the brutal conditions that immigrant detainees face in Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facilities.
KBOO's Heather McCoy spoke with Andrea Cid to learn more about the conditions these effective prisoners face, and the fight to abolish ICE.
