Sunday Assembly for Nonbelievers: "A Church Without the 'God-bits'"

Will Portland soon have a church for its nonbelievers? The brain child of Sanderson Jones and Pippa Evans, two U.K. comedians, Sunday Assemblies have been started in Britain and now the United States. Ron Handy, Korin Leman and Jenna Padbury are supporting the creation of a Sunday Assembly here in Portland, and next year they may be enjoying the holidays with "a godless congregation that celebrates life."
