The H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival has been entertaining horror and science fiction fans for 30 years now, half of those with the help of Co-Director Gwen Callahan. The festival has also been nurturing and promoting the independent arts scene in Portland, with its focus on short films, visiting authors, fandom and the Cthulhu-Con craft fair.
We also preview the book launch of Choice Cuts, featuring the work of author, photographer, and videographer Corbin C. Corbin has documented everything from house concerts to cat conventions to the George Floyd Uprisings. On September 25th he'll introduce a screening of music videos featuring his concert footage at the Portland Art Museum’s Tomorrow Theater.
