Tonight on Circle A Radio, we feature the former Chairman of the Black Panther Party, Elaine Brown.  Brown is author of the books “A Taste of Power” and “The Condemnation of Little B”.  She’s the cofounder of Mothers Advocating Juvenile Justice and The National Alliance for Radical Prison Reform.  She’s also on the Committee to free Chip Fitzgerald.   She regularly lectures at colleges and universities around the country on “New Age Racism in America”.  A long time prisoner advocate, Elaine Brown was a close advisor to prisoners who took part in the historic prison strikes in Georgia this past December.  Here is her keynote speech from the opening night of The Counter Counter Insurgency Convergence, which took place at Reed College, April 8th thru the 10th, 2011.
