The manufacture of unmanned drones for the military is a growing industry in the Columbia Gorge, with Boeing/Insitu now employing nearly 700 people. Guests, Theresa North and Susan Garret Crowley of Hood River, and Peter Lumsdaine, of The Alliance to Resist Robotic Warfare and Society (ARROWS), have been active in raising concerns about the local and global costs of pursuing robotic warfare.
