Former Portlander Morgan Geer of Drunken Prayer plays and discusses his new album

We're excited to welcome Drunken Prayer - the nom de musique of great songwriter, singer, and guitarist Morgan Geer - back to Portland, and onto The Songcircle. Morgan left Portland several years back, and last visited our show playing guitar for the legendary Freakwater - and they thought so well of him, they let him play a solo song in the middle of their set. That song, "Cordelia", touches on his reasons for the move away from Portland, which we will surely discuss, as well as catch up on his adventures since. He'll also play a few songs in rare, acoustic form, and we'll hear tracks from new album Cordelia Elsewhere. Elsewhere on the show, meanwhile, we'll play a few more moon-related songs that didn't fit on our 50th-Anniversary moon special last week, and see what else we can fit on the airwaves.
