This morning, five military veterans at the front of the national archives building in Washington DC climbed a nine foot retaining fence to occupy a thirty five foot high ledge .

The group has declared its intention to stay on the ledge and fast in remembrance of those who have perished, and those still suffering under the crimes of the Bush administration.

KBOO’s Rebecca Nay spoke with Elliot Adams, who is the president of Veterans for Peace.
