This month we're feeling the effects of living in Trumpland so we're bringing you interviews that inspire us to reach out and speak out for our community. First, producer Tabitha Teo speaks with Portland Underground Grad School (PUGS) founder, Douglas Tsoi. They talk about what's missing in education and how radical pricing makes PUGS affordable for everyone. And Douglas talks about his book, "Why Conservatives Are Always Wrong." We can only hope for a volume two of this. Then we catch up with The Slants while they were in Washington D.C. for their trademark Supreme Court hearing. Listen in to hear about Simon Tam's love of NPR and how the band's love of Harry Potter extends beyond their new album title, "The Band Who Must Not Be Named." Music in this episode includes "Ue o muite arukou (Sukiyaki Song)" by Kyu Sakamoto, "Quiet" by MILCK, "Imperialism's Another Word For Hunger" by Yellow Pearl, and "Grandma's Kitchen (ft. Olivia Thai)" by jason chu. Theme music by CHOPS.
