The Bonneville Power Administration has reached a 900 million dollar settlement with Indian tribes on ways to increase protection for endangered and threatened salmon in the Columbia River Basin over the next 10 years.The tribes and the federal agency have been at odds for years in court over the conflict between salmon runs and power demands on the river.
