Host Ken Jones talks with Oregon-based author and indie publisher, Dan Armstrong. Dan will be appearing at the 8th Annual NW Book Festival, this Saturday in Portland’s Pioneer Courthouse Square.
Dan gives us a preview of the festival, and talks about the nuts and bolts of independent publishing, the challenges facing the DIY author, and a bit about his own work. This includes the first two books of The Eyes of Archimedes, a trilogy about the Greek mathematician and his slave during the rise of Rome, circa 200 BC.
You can meet Dan and a host of other Pacific Northwest authors tomorrow at the festival, which runs from 11am to 5pm. Admission is free.
