we took a break from discussing 'issues' the last time to honour (now ancestor) donald byrd; so we have a lot in store to consider... we want to continue our discussion of media oversaturation, since there have been so many new 'stories' entering the picture, battling to take control of our subconscious selves. despite there being consistent conflicting narratives (which by its very nature defines that the 'reputable' sources are increasingly incorrect) we as a culture tend to want to believe the 'official' story.
we must return to our nature of discernment; and we at 'guess who's coming to radio??!!' are using this tool of the airwaves to encourage this return. as teacher michael once said, "just because you read it in a magazine or see it on a tv screen don't make it factual." it would be wise to remember this teaching as we read or watch media.
