Please tune in this Friday, March 27th, at 9:00 AM on KBOO 90.7 FM for the next edition of ONE LAND, MANY VOICES. Guest co-host Wael Elasady of Students United for Palestinian Equal Rights will join William Seaman for a discussion of political prisoners in Israel and Israeli war crimes in Gaza and resistance to the Apartheid Wall at Ni'iln, where a young volunteer from California, Tristan Anderson, was critically injured by a teargas canister fired by Israeli troops.
Our first guest, Mr. Jaber Wishah, is the Deputy Director of the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights in Gaza, and a former political prisoner. He spent fifteen years in Israeli prisons and was released in September of 1999. He was involved in the political and military resistance and transitioned to doing human rights monitoring work in Gaza with PCHR.
Our second guest is Yonatan Pollack of Anarchists Against the Wall, a key Israeli organizer for the protests at Ni'iln. We'll be talking about the direct action protests against the occupation and about Tristan Anderson, the young man who was injured by the Israeli teargas canister. The latest reports indicate that Mr. Anderson's condition remains critical and unstable.
