Studs Turkel on Civil Rights 1965, American living paycheck to paycheck, movie moles: selma
Due to technical difficulties, there will not be a "whole show" file until parts can be re-recorded. You can still listen to individual segments below.
Joe Clement hosts and we hear:
- Alan Weider's second documentary on Studs Turkel, this time following him to Montgomery, Alabama in 1965 following the Civil Rights struggle.
- Bill Resnick and Diane Elliot of the Pew Charitable Trust talk about the majority of Americans living paycheck to paycheck.
- Joe and Iven Hale review Selma, the widely accclaimed film by Ava Duverney that tells the story of the Selma to Montgomery marches, though as a quasi biopic about Martin Luther King Jr. (played by David Oyelowo).
