Racist Native American 'Mascots' in the Schools: Will the State Ban Them at Last?

The Oregon State Board of Education is getting ready to make a decision on abolishing "Race-Based Native American Mascots" at local schools, and the Oregon Indian Education Association has launched the Mascot Project, asking the Board to ban them in state funded schools.
