Join us this Tuesday, December 2nd at 6:00 p.m. for a new episode of Transpositive PDX on KBOO Community Radio. As always, we bring you conversations grounded in lived experience, community care, and the ongoing struggle for dignity and justice for all trans people.
In the first half of the program, hosts Emma and Sheila dig into current events shaping the political and cultural landscape for our community. We’ll look at the latest developments affecting transgender rights, inclusive health care, and the shifting legal terrain that continues to impact our lives.
For the second half of the show, we’re joined by Nicolette, who brings thoughtful insight into what it means to navigate safety as a transgender person today. With anti-trans rhetoric and violence on the rise, we’ll talk together about strategies for staying connected, informed, and resilient—individually and collectively.
Tune in for a grounded, honest conversation about where we are, what we’re facing, and how we keep showing up for each other. That’s Transpositive PDX, Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. on KBOO 90.7 FM, streaming live at kboo.fm

Nicolette
Emma's essay on nonviolence and moral high ground serves a foundational purpose.... a kind of "declaration of independence" to point to in the future when that future is HIGHLY uncertain. That said.... WAY TO GO Nicolette! You call out the power imbalance and the clearly demonstrated/established fact that our oppressors aren't using a set of moral values even remotely resembling those Emma invokes. Dying for your cause never won anything.
Emma's closing
Emma closes well. Be safe. Do you. Do something!
