On this edition of Century: Overcoming Disruption.
Ahead of World AIDS Day, which is observed each year on December 1, UNAIDS has released a new report entitled Overcoming Disruption, Transforming the AIDS Response. This report details the far-reaching consequences of the international funding reductions and lack of global solidarity which sent shockwaves around the world. UNAIDS held a news conference November 25 to announce the report’s release. We hear the presentation by Winnie Byanyima, Executive Director of UNAIDS.
Plus we hear an update on Ohio Senate Bill 56, which makes changes to that state’s adult use and medical marijuana laws as well as imposing new regulations on hemp-derived products.
