And let's not forget the Forest:

While activists across the country are occupying their cities and towns, meanwhile back in Cascadia, the timber industry is still trying to occupy Elliot State Forest, and the legal and financial might of Big Logging could have its way once again .  Friends of Oregon's Forests will be massing Salem on October 11th when Governor Kitzhaber and his timber touts will make the final decision on the fate of the forest.  Where will it stop?

It stops when there is nothing left to loot.  Or…it will stop when the streets of cities across the nation and across the world light up the neural networks connecting all of us.  It will stop when the 1 percent realizes that what appears from afar like a ragtag army of discontents all waving their specific affinity flags is – up close – exactly what it is:  Thousands upon thousands of people following the money.  And they are following it without permits, permission or pretense.  Mainstream media has dismissed the Occupation as a fragmented mob with no notion of common ground.  But get this:  Once it’s Occupied, it is common ground…

On October 11th, the Guv and his cohorts in the timber industry will make the final decision on clear-cutting Elliot State Forest.  It's Last Chance Time again.  www.forestdefensenow.com/
