On Pastures of Plenty this week (March 27, 2024) we feature a globe-trotting group of artists with some great folk music from all over the world. We start in Canada with energetic fiddlers Natalie MacMaster & Donnell Leahy, from their latest album "Canvas" with "Dance Arnold Dance. Then we head to Ireland to hear from John Doyle and Karran Casey with "The False Lady", then on to England where we hear from Martin Simpson & Thomm Jutz with "Come All You Fair And Tender Ladies". Then it's back to Toronto for "Pretty Boy Floyd" by the Lonesome Ace Stringband, and later we check in with Ireland's Glen Hansard along with Markéta Irglová and their grammy-winning tune "Fall Down Slowly" from the 2007 film "Once". We've also got a track from Hansard's latest album "All That Was East Is West of Me Now" with "There's No Mountain". There's also a Swedish songwriter named Hanna Enlof with her tune "Follow You Down" and Australian superstar Kasey Chambers with "On A Bad Day". Finally, we have songs from Canadian legends Bruce Cockburn ("Push Come To Shove") and David Francey ("Sumach Street"), and a Canadian newcomer named William Prince with "When You Miss Someone".
There are also a couple of tunes from rising Folk star Kelly Hunt from her album "Ozark Symphony", as well as two songs from The Lone Bellow from their latest album "Love Songs For Losers".
