A recent Climate Matters bulletin produced by Climate Central shows Portland’s weather last month was much warmer and wetter than normal. KBOO's Aurora Biggers spoke with Climate Central meteorologist Sean Sublette about this unusual weather.

Climate Central's report shows that Portland’s September average temperature of 67.0°F was 1.3° above normal, and the precipitation was 241% of the normal amount of rain. Portland also stood out as the fourth wettest location out of the 180 locations Central Climate analyzed. Sean Sublette explains what this data means and how Portland and Oregon summers will continue to be hotter than what Oregonians may be used to.
