Roger Miller opens Swing’n’Country today with In The Summertime, which it certainly is in Portland’s July ’25. No surprise there. And no surprises in the show this week either. There’ll be a couple more Roger Miller hit songs from the 1960s, a couple of sets of western music, a handful of requests from last month’s 3rd Saturday show, a couple of entertaining songs from Gretchen Wilson and then Maria Muldaur in the middle of the program, and four waltzes - all that and more for your morning’s entertainment.
