Please join us as we talk with Ethan Stout on Supporting Youth of Incarcerated Native Families. Stout is the website manager and project coordinator for MyRedRoad.Com supporting youth of incarcerated Native families. My Red Road is a collaboration between Stout and Bobby Binford. Bobby Binford is a Native American political prisoner who is serving six life sentences in the state of Washington. Binford serves as a mentor to Native folks who happen to be incarcerated and through this new collaboration with Stout, Binford hopes to reach out to the broader community to support Native youth. Stout is working toward his Associate of Arts degree and studying web design after serving two years in Washington state.
Prison Pipeline is a radio program dedicated to educating the public about the Oregon criminal justice system. Our goal is to present a unique understanding of the criminal justice system, address the root causes of crime, and challenge the status quo. We seek to promote awareness and activism in order to foster a safe, healthy, and just society. Tune in every Monday at 6:30 P.M. to hear our hosts Karen James, Adam Carpinelli, Amy Johnson, Emma Lugo, Doug McVay and Isabelle Sinclar explore the Oregon justice system with a variety of guests.
