From The Columbia River to Coos Bay: The Road Not Taken, A Full Hour of LNG

The Liquefied Natural Gaszilla is wounded ...but not dead.  And you know what they say about a wounded animal.  This is the Air Cascadia you've been waiting for:  A full hour of Q & A with everyone from the New Orleans Chapter of the Sierra Club to Portland's own Olivia Schmidt with the Anti-LNG Coalition and BARK's Amy Harwood.  And you, the listener calling in with your questions, comments, contributions. Think the fight is over?  Think again.  The gas industry is going to pour everything it's got into one last stand on the West Coast.  Coos Bay, brace yourself for a tsunami coming your way 'Not by sea but by Land.'  Coos Bay is isolated by both geography and access to information.  That's why it is time to launch the Summer 2010 Caravan, biking downstate spreading the word on LNG, culminating in a weekend camp at Jordan Cove (Or as close as we can get.)  Bring the boats!, Bring the bikes!  Bring the Bang!  If we can build a wildly diverse coalition of like-minded epople together to stop the Bradwood Landing Project, we can do the same in Coos Bay.  Jody McCafferee  is doing all the heavy lifting and could really use support from the rest of us.  Light a fire!
