A big holiday show on the Sampler as regular guests DK Holm, and Julia Laxer drop in on Fortunato and Just Jess. Also coming in, will be Cathy Whims of the restaurants Nostrana and Enoteca Nostrana, to give us some background on the Portland food scene and some ideas for holiday meals. We'll also present another episode of The Father Christmas Letters by J.R.R. Tolkien, read to us by Katherine Dunn. There will be some holiday music, a special reading by cartoonist David Chelsea of an updated version of the Night Before Christmas, and lots of shenanigans!
