Local Folks Podcast Season Two, Episode Four

Every day there are local folks – invisible to most of us – in my community who are working very hard to help low income people eat and heat their homes. In this episode we join them on a ride along as they pick-up post-dated commodities from a local supermarket, repack donated bulk food at a warehouse, glean fruit and vegetables from farmers fields, and harvest wood from tree downed by a tree removal service to learn what it takes to be a successful gleaner. (hint: quite a lot!)
