Recovery Zone: Footsteps to Freedom!

For the June 5th Recovery Zone, host Stephanie Potter visited with people helping refugees to resettle in Portland.  Interviews with Abdul Fofanah and  Arika Makena Bunyoli of the African Women's Coalition Youth Programs; and Megan Schaefer at Lutheran Community Services Northwest, who is helping to  coordinate the Footsteps to Freedom World Refugee Day Walk taking place on  Saturday,  June 21st, in downtown Portland. This event will honor the resiliance and courage of refugees.  Proceeds will benefit services to refugees.
