Voices of the Cannabis War

Emma Lugo interviews Mindi Griffiths from the program Voices of the Cannabis War. In spite of the recent legalization of recreational marijuana in Oregon and three other states, and the legalization of medical marijuana in almost half of the country, hundreds of people are still incarcerated for lengthy prison sentences, even life terms simply for participating in what is now a legal activity. Emma talks with Mindi about some of the prisoners who have been incarcerated for twenty years or longer and what we can do to help raise awareness about their unjust imprisonment.
