Dr Sheri Speede talks about her chimpanzee sanctuary in Cameroon and her attempts to protect them..

Host Dab Steadman interviews Sheri Speede,  Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and  founder and director of the Sanaga-Yong Rescue Center for Chimpanzees in Cameroon, West Africa.  She is the author of a memoir of the founding of the Chimp Center called  "Kindred Beings- What Seventy-three Chimpanzees Taught Me About Life,Love and Connection".She is currently the head of In Defense of Animals- Africa and still directs the Chimpanzee Rescue Center where  72 chimps happily reside.
