Dignity Village is on the verge of experiencing some potentially disruptive changes, which we thought you should know about. Two years ago the city of Portland inserted language into the contract they have with the Village, stating that people that have been there for two years need to "Move Along". Problem is, as it's always been, some of these people don't have anywhere else to go. Perhaps even more importantly than that, the Village is now their home. The Village is providing people with much more than simply a place to sleep, it is offering them a home and a community. It is doing so at a cost far less than any other service provision model that is in use. Without a place to call home, with out a community of support, what are they to do?

We will talk about that, about what the Village represents on a national and international scale.

We will also talk with Steve Wilson about his website.
