Closer Electronic Music Festival returns to Portland for its second year, June 21-24, 2012, with a bigger lineup, more events and more diverse musical offerings.

Closer Electronic Music Festival 2012 is a four day, multi-venue music festival set in the heart of Portland with a focus on quality underground electronic music. The 2012 festival offers a diverse selection of events and performers at Portland’s top electronic music venues. Various events held in the central west and east sides of PDX will showcase more than 50 regional djs and live acts along with an exciting selection of guest headliners from up and down the left coast and beyond.

Closer’s multi-venue, multi-event format encourages attendees to explore new venues and discover new music. Festival attendees can purchase a single festival pass that provides access to all official nightclub events at www.brownpapertickets.com.

“After a successful and well-received first edition of Closer in 2011, we’re excited to come back with a bigger festival lineup, more genres and more events,” said Gustavo Lanzas, co-founder of Closer PDX. “Closer 2012 will showcase Portland’s thriving underground electronic music scene and the artists, venues and labels that keep it going, not to mention some incredible guest performers.”
