Digging back into Transportation Funding in the Budget Crisis and The Active Transportation Summit
A transportation bill is being on the floor right now that would cut all federal money for bike and ped programs and roll back almost 20 years of bike and ped improvements. We'll look into what that could mean for the future of funding at the federal, state and local levels with Gerik Kransky from the BTA and Chris Rall from Transportation for America. Then at 11:30am Tara Corbin from Cycle Oregon will be joining us to talk about the upcoming Oregon Active Transportation Summit (April 16-17) and the state outlook for cycling and active transportation.
