Washington County: How to Make Cycling Work in the Suburbs and Beyond

On the September episode we'll be joined in the studio by the movers, shakers and hard workers that are figuring out new and improved ways to bring cycling to the suburbs and rural areas that surround them. While cities are built for short trips, the suburbs present new obstacles and challenges for designers and planners to make facilities available to the average Nike/soccer mom, Intel/BBQ dad, and safe for the whole family. Join us while we explore the creative ways these folks are finding solutions, or call in with your own stories and suggestions!

I have switched to a drive less, ride more philosophy but live in a particularly scary road area of Aloha.
I have been looking to do some mapping of some of my routes (slower traffic back streets). Is there a site or resource that I can contribute my mapping or experiences to?

There is a planning project going on in Aloha-Reedville Area that it would be great to share your routes and experiences with the County staff to incorporate into their mapping and plans for future improvements.  Check out the county website, there is a box on there opening webpage for aloha-reedville, it will take you to all the info.
