October 27th marks the second anniversary of the murder of independent journalist Brad Will in Oaxaca, Mexico. The Mexican government has marked the occasion by arresting a number of activist leaders and charging them with Brad's murder. Those who were present when Brad was shot say the charges are ridiculous, because video footage, eyewitnesses and evidence all point to off-duty Mexican police officers as the murderers. KBOO's Jenka Soderberg spoke with activist Melissa Mundt and Oaxacan journalist Gustavo Vilches, a Oaxacan journalist who witnessed Brad's death, and has faced threats from the Mexican government for offering to testify on Brad's behalf.
