Discussion of oil by rail, its proponents and risks.
Desiree Hellegers interviews Dan Serres, Conservation Director of the Columbia River Keeper, about the potential environmental and safety impacts of a proposal to site the largest oil-by-rail storage facility in the United States right here in our own backyard in Vancouver, Washington. The proposed facility would have a carbon impact equivalent to 43% of the controversial Keystone XL pipeline.
