Converting from fossil fuels to carbon free energy in 15 - 30 years
In Part Two of the Old Mole two-hour special on climate change, Mark Jacobson discusses fast-track models for converting energy production to non-fossil fuels within 15-30 years. Jacobson teaches civil and environmental engineering at Stanford University and has collaborated with students on research demonstrating that we now have the resources and technology for replacing fossil (and nuclear) energy with wind, solar, and other carbon-free sources. He talks here with the Old Mole's Bill Resnick.
