This week on Century of Lies: Marijuana at the UN.
The Nonviolent Radical Party, Transnational and Transparty, with the support of the European Coalition for Just and Effective Drug Policies organized a panel recently entitled Cannabis Legalization: Science and Policies which was held as a side event at the Sixty-Eighth Session of the United Nations Commission on Narcotic Drugs in Vienna, Austria.
On this edition of Century we’ll hear portions of that panel including presentations by Dr. Beau Kilmer, Codirector of the RAND Drug Policy Research Center, a Senior Policy Researcher, and Professor of Policy Analysis at the RAND School of Public Policy; Dr. Peter Reuter, a long-time drug policy researcher and a Professor in the School of Public Policy and the Department of Criminology at the University of Maryland; and Heinrich Wieker, a former electrical engineer and the founder of the Hanover, Germany Cannabis Social Club
