The annual Keep Alive the Dream tribute is a cornerstone of Portland’s Black community celebrations. This year’s theme, "Keep Alive the Dream: Beyond Resilience to Empowerment,” sets the tone for a day of reflection, celebration, and unity. The event invites the community to come together to reflect on the triumphs and resilience of the civil rights movement, as well as draw inspiration for the work that still lies ahead. Dr. King's legacy continues to call us to confront systemic inequities with courage.

2025's Keep Alive the Dream tribute took place on Monday, January 20th at the Hyatt Regency Portland at the Convention Center.
