Cascadia Forest Defenders Released from Jail

Three forest activists who peacefully occupied the regional Oregon Department of Forestry office in Molalla were released from jail today. The trio had locked themselves together in the forestry office as a culmination of the annual Trans & Womens action camp. The activists stated they would occupy the forestry office until the ODF revoked their support for the 2011 Elliot State Forest Management Plan.
