Utah Man Found Guilty of Rigging Land Auctions

Tim DeChristopher was sentenced today in Salt Lake City court to serve two years in prison and pay $10,000 in fines for making fake bids during a federal land auction. He was found guilty of two felonies for rigging the federal auction of oil and gas leases near National Parks in Utah.

This morning KBOO's Chris Andrae spoke with Henya Verali, and activist with the conservation group Peaceful Uprising.
