On May 16th, we took a moment to celebrate and acknowledge Asian American Pacific Islander heritage.
We broadcast live from the annual fundraising event organized by APANO and APANO Action Fund (AF), held at Avenue, in Portland's Lloyd District. This year's theme, "Roots of Resilience," spoke to the mission of creating a strong, resilient community — together. We had an almost constant flow of conversations with attendees at the APANO event, which helped us meet our goal of providing the community with real and fresh AAPI content in honor of AAPI heritage month.
We invite you to join us in celebrating the rich history and resilience of Asians and Pacific Islanders in Oregon and support the future leadership and initiatives of their communities.
