Portland Police received the annual Diversity Champion Award
Last week the Portland Police received the annual Diversity Champion Award from the City Council.
In light of the six fatality shootings by Portland Police during 2010, questions arose about the appropriateness of the award.
KBOO’s Ross Freeman Levin spoke with the City of Portland Human Resources administrator and an activist who responded publicly to the award.
