Please join us for Transpositive on KBOO Community Radio on Tuesday, December 7th at 6 pm as we talk with Hazel Andersen of Genderbomb.  Genderbomb is a collaboration by trans organizers to create space for art by the trans community for the trans community.  Genderbomb is a one-of-a-kind space where everyone is trans, everyone is paid, and the whole emotional spectrum is fair game.  One motto of Genderbomb is, "Trans art for trans eyes from trans hearts."  Hazel Andersen is a food scientist and opera singer who has helped to create this unique, collaborative space where performers are supported and encouraged to express their authentic voice.  Andersen shares her coming out story as well as the coming out story for Genderbomb and the special role that it is playing as a performance lab for trans and nonbinary voices.

Transpositive is a biweekly program in Portland exploring themes important to those who identify as Transgender, Gender Non-Binary, and Gender Non-Conforming. Transpositive tries to connect listeners with the ongoing activist, arts, culture, and dialogue happening in Portland and beyond. Make your voice heard! Transpositive PDX is open to new and experienced programmers, guests, and events you want our community to know about. We are an open collective. Anyone who identifies as trans, gender non-binary, gender fluid is welcome to be part of our collective after completing some basic free radio training.
