About 67% of Oregonians have gotten at least one dose of their vaccine so far. OHSU predicts that the state could reach herd immunity by the end of December if current vaccination and infection rates continue. But vaccination efforts are still underway, and experts say it is critical to offer culturally specific vaccine support to people who haven't gotten their shots yet.

One local recovery group is hosting a number of vaccine clinics to encourage more people to get their shots in a supportive environment.

KBOO's Althea Billings spoke with Kim Hill, the Vaccine Care Coordinator from 4D Recovery to learn more.
