Jan Haaken talks with Winona LaDuke about the fight against Enbridge Energy's Line 3 in Minnesota, a pipeline project that would expand the flow of highly toxic tar sands oil through critical waterways and lands in this region. LaDuke is Executive Director of Honor the Earth, and an economist and environmental activist known for her work on tribal land claims and sustainable development. As a Water and Land Protector on the front lines, she explains why direct action is so vital to this struggle and how activists from other regions can support the resistance there.
