Art From The Heart feature story by Steve Greenberg
On Stage and Studio, Dmae Roberts featured a profile of Art From The Heart , arts opportunities for people with developmental disabilites, produced by Steve Greenberg.
For fifteen years, an art school, studio and gallery in northeast portland has been fostering the creative growth of its students. The 25-30 students at the non-profit “art from the heart” take classes in painting, sculpture, weaving, music, and theater. The organization provides studio time and training for students to work on their individual projects. At art from the heart, all of the students are adults with developmental disabilities.
